It's not easy being a lemon
It’s not easy being a lemon 
getting pushed around by the wind on the trees.
Little kids pulling me and my friends off The family tree.
People pulling faces at me when they drink my juice (I mean I could make some nice lemonade).
Leaving me in the fruit bowl for a week or so which makes my skin get old and wrinkly..
Throwing me out-side where I get hurt and bruised.
Getting left in the fridge for days and days.
Big kids rolling me down the slide throwing me in the sandpit where they build holes and chuck me in there forgetting I’m in there and losing me. I lie down in the sun Where my skin gets yuk sore and burnt.
It’s not easy being a lemon.

The Hideous creature
The hideous Creature. 
I was running up and down the beach making sand castles. I was about to put my last shell on the sand castle. Man that was tiring I thought I would have a little swim before we go. I was about to put a foot into the sea when I saw the scariest smelliest thing I had ever seen. I snuck up slowly hiding behind a big rock to get a better look..
The hideous creature Sat on the top of a seaweed covered rock. It’s body was shaped like a seahorse and a mammal. The hideous creature had very big black eyes, and suddenly it winked at me. The creature had big fangs like a tiger and the rest just looks like horse teeth. It’s body looked much like leather. The thing Had a terrible looking fin which looked like one of the tiger fangs. The hideous creature looked like a monster.
I wonder if it swims properly with those tiny fins. It probably keeps it’s mouth open all the time. I am sure that hideous creature stays on the seaweed covered rock most days. 
WARNING if you ever go to waimarama beach again most likely you will see the hideous creature. If you see it then please stay away from it. It’s dangerous!
